In the cozy craft corner, soft twinkle lights glowed above Chloe and Henry. Sticker sheets, crayons, and glue sticks rested across the table like tiny treasures waiting to be chosen. Chloe loved stickers so much that she hummed a little tune whenever she picked one, a quiet sound that floated gently around the room. Henry wasn't looking at all the stickers. He had found one special one, a sparkly silver star that shimmered every time the twinkle lights blinked. But Chloe didn't realize that. Still humming, she reached out and gently peeled the sparkly star right off the sheet.

"Oh!" Henry said.

The sound was small, but it carried just enough for Chloe to hear. Her humming paused.

"Henry, did you want this one?" Chloe said.

Henry gave a tiny nod. His shoulders dipped, and his eyes looked a little disappointed. Chloe noticed every bit of it.

"Here you go. It's yours," Chloe said.

She placed the sparkly star into Henry's hand, and then something quiet and magical happened. The star gave a tiny twinkle, like a soft little wink, as if it understood Chloe's kindness.

"Chloe, did you see that?" Before they could blink, the star floated gently into the air, glowing like a warm, drifting firefly," Henry said.

The star spun one slow circle, scattering a sprinkle of shimmering dust that drifted down like quiet silver snow. The shimmer landed on three stickers nearby: a tiny ballerina, a cheerful T-Rex, and a farm cow wearing a little bell. And then, as calmly as a dream beginning, the stickers lifted off the table. The ballerina twirled in soft, floating circles, her tutu glowing in the warm light. The T-Rex rose next, bouncing tiny pretend steps, its little tail swaying happily. The cow drifted upward with a cozy, steady sway, its bell giving the faintest ding.

"They're dancing together," Chloe said.

The ballerina, the T-Rex, the cow, and the sparkly star moved in a small, gentle parade across the air. A slow twirl, a tiny loop. Henry watched with wide eyes. Chloe pressed her hands to her cheeks, delighted. The star whispered...

"Noticing a friend's feelings is a special kind of care. It warms their heart," Star said.

Slowly, the star drifted downward, the ballerina lowering into a graceful bow, the T-Rex curling into a little sitting pose, and the cow settling like a floating cloud. One by one, they rested gently onto the pages below, their shimmer settling into peaceful stillness. Chloe and Henry scooted their chairs closer again. The room felt warm and calm after all the quiet magic.

"I think the star shimmered because you noticed my feelings, even though it was a tiny one," Henry said.

"I'm glad I noticed. Noticing how someone feels is important," Chloe said.

"I'm glad you noticed, too. It made me feel understood and cared for, and that feels really nice. Thanks, Chloe," Henry said.

The twinkle lights shimmered above them, and the stickers rested in their places, while the craft corner felt still, warm, and full of quiet understanding.
